I have played sports my entire life. Hearing the sound of a basketball as it bounces on the parquet floor is music to my ears. Hearing the sound of the softball as it meets the tip of the bat for a hit that flies down the third baseline, is awesome. I decided to take my love of sports and intertwine it with my love for photography. I want to freeze that moment in time to see the flick of the wrist, the slide into second, third or home plate. I want to capture the body’s beautiful twist with the golf swing, or perhaps the magnificent leap over the defense into the end zone, for the touchdown. I absolutely love photographing athletes in action. I still remember the feelings I felt as an athlete when I stepped onto the basketball court or onto the softball field. Being behind the lens, it’s as if I am living vicariously through each player. I know the moment I’m looking for. If it’s going to happen, I am going to do my very best to capture it. A moment in time to cherish forever.
